John Varvatos Collection Gift Set

John Varvatos makes excellent fragrances for men and I think a lot of this comes down to the fact that each and every one of his scents have been made by the same perfumer: the incomparable Rodrigo Flores-Roux. By partnering with Rodrigo, Varvatos has created a consistent olfactory wardrobe that is perfectly in tune with the aesthetic of his brand. The scents are affable and easy, but far from pedestrian. Escentric Molecules Art & Chemistry

Last but not least! Escentric Molecules is a really cool brand and they’ve done a lot to dispel the mystery (and often the nonsense) of perfumery by showcasing the important synthetic materials that make modern perfumery what it is. The fragrances come in binary pairs; with one ‘molecule’ fragrance that showcases an aroma chemical in isolation, and an ‘escentric’ that features that same material within a more traditional composition.
